Do you have an artifact, document, or photograph that tells the story of Monroe or Walton County? The Monroe Museum accepts historical items that represent our community's people, places, and events.
We accept items that represent Monroe and Walton County history:
People born or lived in Monroe / Walton County
Places in Monroe / Walton County
Events that shaped Monroe / Walton County
We may not be able to accept items that:
Are personal memorabilia without a local history connection (for example: a generic Mickey Mouse phone with no tie to Monroe)
Fall outside our collection scope
